Endodontics & Pain Relief: Preserving Your Natural Smile

Endodontic treatment, commonly known as root canal therapy, is a specialized procedure designed to save a tooth that is severely decayed or infected. When the pulp—the soft tissue inside your tooth containing nerves and blood vessels—becomes inflamed or diseased, endodontic intervention is necessary to eliminate pain and prevent tooth loss. Our primary goal is to provide immediate pain relief while restoring the health and function of your natural tooth.

Modern endodontics is a comfortable and highly effective way to treat dental infections. By removing the source of the pain and sealing the tooth against future bacteria, we help you avoid the need for extractions and more complex restorative work. With our advanced techniques, most patients find the experience to be no more stressful than getting a standard filling.

FAQS

Everything you need to know about Root Canals (FAQs)

A root canal treatment is performed to remove infected tissue from inside the tooth. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia; the level of comfort during and after treatment varies from patient to patient. Your dentist will explain what to expect beforehand.

Common signs include persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to hot and cold that lingers, swelling in the gums, or a darkened tooth. If you experience these symptoms, a clinical exam and X-ray are necessary to determine if the pulp is damaged.

Most root canal treatments can be completed in one or two appointments, depending on the complexity of the tooth's root structure and the level of infection. Each session typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes.

After the root canal, the tooth is "non-vital" (it no longer has a nerve). To protect it from fracturing, a dental crown is usually recommended. This restores the tooth's strength and allows you to use it normally for many years.

Treatment fees are paid directly to the clinic. We can provide the documentation you may need in order to make a claim with your own insurer in your home country.
